To access certain functionality, you first need to register at myLutron for a login, and in many cases, provide a valid Lutron account number for your employer.

Examples include emails confirming your account initiation, password changes, status changes due to inactivity, and similar changes so you can monitor any unauthorized access to your account. Third-Party Sales Representatives & Employees Linked to the Lutron Customer Account. We may share this data with Lutron’s third-party sales representatives and with employees of the company associated with the Lutron customer account number linked to your myLutron account. This data is hosted on an external database that our sales team and third-party sales representatives have access to.
Service providers. We may disclose your personal data to third-party service providers who enable us to fulfill your requests, or who provide website hosting and professional services, including information technology services, regulatory services, and legal services.
Our other group entities. We may disclose your personal data to our other Lutron group companies to provide you with tailored services and communications, or in accordance with our business administrative practices.
Targeted Advertising and Website Usage. Lutron does not, and will not, sell your information in a traditional sense. i.e., for money. However, some laws define “sell” very broadly to include activities like sharing your information to perform certain types of analytics or to provide a more targeted and personal ad experience. For security reasons, we will need to verify that the person initiating a data request is authorized. As you must have an account for this App to function, upon our receipt of a data request we will advise you to send certain information from within the App while you are logged in to your account. Also, if we are required to do so for legal reasons, we may need to retain certain data.

You can ask us to ‘block’ or suppress the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances such as where you contest the accuracy of that personal information or you object to us processing it. It will not stop us from storing your personal information. We will tell you before we lift any restriction. If we have shared your personal information with others, we will let them know about the restriction where it is possible for us to do so. If you ask us, where it is possible and lawful for us to do so, we will also tell you with whom we have shared your personal information with so you can contact them directly.

Lutron takes security very seriously and we follow industry best practices around securing data, monitoring for potential abuse, and updating systems. We collect only the personal data we need to fulfill the purposes stated in this Privacy Policy, and we will not retain personal data for longer than necessary.
The categories of personal data we collect are: personal identifiers, internet activity, commercial information, and professional or employment related information; we will generally retain personal data collected from you via this website for less than three years. Upon “opting out” of email marketing, we may continue to retain your information for other service and support reasons such as: password reset, technical updates, warranty requests. However, if we believe we need to retain personal data to respond to a legal inquiry, we may retain the data for a longer period.
